Touchless Automatic Soap Dispenser — Stainless Steel Infrared Sensor, 280ml Adjustable
Wash your hands without touching the thing you wash your hands to avoid touching.
The pump on a normal soap dispenser collects everything your hands were carrying before you washed them — raw chicken, garden soil, whatever was on the door handle. This one reads your hand with an infrared sensor and dispenses automatically, so the only thing you touch is the soap.
The body is 304 stainless steel with a fingerprint-resistant finish, so it looks like a deliberate part of the room rather than a plastic gadget parked next to the tap.
Features
- Infrared motion sensor — Hold your hand under the nozzle and it dispenses. No pump, no touching.
- Adjustable dispensing volume — Plus and minus buttons set the output anywhere from 0.5ml to 3ml, so you can dial it down for thin hand soap or up for thicker dish liquid.
- 280ml / 9.46oz capacity — Enough for regular household use between refills.
- 304 stainless steel body — Fingerprint-resistant finish that wipes clean and resists bathroom humidity better than plastic.
- Waterproof base with rubber seals — Protects the battery compartment from splashes around a sink.
- Screw-free base — Separates by hand for refilling and battery changes; no tools needed.
- Takes most liquids — Hand soap, dish soap, hand sanitiser and lotion.
Setting it up properly
Most dispensing problems in this category come from setup, so it's worth doing this carefully:
- Install 4 AAA batteries (not included). Use alkaline, not the cheapest ones you can find — sensor electronics drain weak batteries fast.
- Dilute thick soap. Concentrated dish soap and thick lotions clog small pumps. Cut them with water about 1:1 and dispensing gets far more consistent.
- Set the volume before you rely on it. Use the +/− buttons and test over the sink until the output suits you. Expect a few test dispenses to find your setting.
- Keep the sensor window clean. Dried soap on the sensor is the most common cause of it not triggering. Wipe it with a damp cloth weekly.
- Wipe the exterior, don't submerge it. The base is splash-resistant, not waterproof.
Honest expectations
This is a budget touchless dispenser. It works best with thin or diluted liquid soap and needs its volume setting dialled in when you first set it up. If you want completely hands-off precision with thick foaming soap and months of battery life, a USB-rechargeable foaming model is a better fit.
