I bought this projector to create an epic backyard movie setup for family nights, and Iâve been really impressed. I didnât need a high-end $1,000+ home theater projectorâjust something easy to use, bright enough, and good for outdoor movies. This one absolutely did the job.

My projector location and the pull down screen (mounted above our dinette) are not in direct alignment with each other. The projector is in a cabinet above our recliners, so, that did require a few minutes to get things lined up and properly adjusted. After removing the included lens cover (I like the way it fits and the ease of insertion and removal), we hit the power button on the remote and within about 3-4 seconds, it was on and loading! The keystone alignment was easy to adjust as was shifting the entire projected imaged down and to the left. After that, I used the zoom feature so that the image fit our 70â screen perfectly!

The sound quality is also impressive. It is much clearer and louder than other projectors I have tried before. The volume range covers everything from quiet dialogue to action scenes without distortion. Also, the compact size is easy to put in different places, making it perfect for this small bedroom.

Setting the machine up is a breeze. It comes with multiple input jacks. You can connect it to your phone, computer, another television, and even a gaming console. It also has a headphone jack which can also be super useful! While we recommend getting a projection screen, itâs not necessary. We have used a white wall (as seen in the picture/video) which works great as well. Be sure to adjust the focus within the menu (also pictured) for a clearer picture.

Iâve been projecting onto a plain white wall about 100 inches wide, and it still looks great. Definitely a solid choice for movie nights, gaming, or outdoor setups.
