I bought this for use as a passenger in the car because every bump on the road hurt my back. It is thick enough that you must be able to adjust to getting seated comfortably, but once seated, I was amazed that though you feel all the variations of the terrain, there is absolutely no harsh, painful moments at all! I highly recommend this product!

This cushion does provide relief for those with certain conditions and seems quite durable.
